 Ministerial Development Council discusses meeting initiatives and legislations to support government work

Chaired by H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, the Ministerial Development Council held its meeting today at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, discussing a number of initiatives and legislations to support government work.

The meeting discussed policies and initiatives related to developing a financing programme for modern agricultural projects, which aims at supporting SMEs.

The council reviewed a proposal to allow Space Tech and Satellites Companies to engage in some activities, and facilitating their work locally, in addition to discussing issuing Couples Counselling and Rehabilitation Programmes before marriage.

The meeting also discussed a request of Federal National Council (FNC) regarding the Government policy on enhancing citizen participation in the healthcare sector, as well as other recommendations related to various policies and programmes. Also, the Council reviewed a number of government reports related to finance and budgeting.
