Serial entrepreneur Andrea Balaca, CEO of premium suit brand Debonair by Andrea Blk boutique has always believed in the power of digitalization.   

The mega event Expo 2020 Dubai which was the world’s biggest cultural gathering and upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 which is scheduled to take place from November 20 – 18 December has brought investors from across the globe on a common platform to discuss new avenues for investments and this has added boost to the UAE’s economic growth with a focus on digitalization.

Andrea Balaca, spoke at length about the motto behind the brand and her company embracing digital platform and going digital, “The boutique follows the motto, ‘sell the problem you solve, not the product you have’. Known for her community service initiatives Andrea spoke about  few CSR projects which are close to her heart and said, “One of the main goals and purpose of my life is to create a movement of education for children in need.  10$ from each product will go into children education. To change the world we need to educate and give opportunity and chance to education — the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world. My idea to change the world also gave rise to the founding of the non-profit GOLDN Ladies Club. The change that Andrea is willing to bring about is to raise awareness and inspire each and every woman to be dependable, successful, and a real leader who has a positive influence on others.”

Answering a question about her expansion plans, Andrea enthused, “We are originally a leading trading company named Jebal al Ofoq which is into importing and distributing frozen products across The UAE and are bullish about the expansion. As per our expansion strategy we launched corporate power suit and dress collection under the name Debonair in January 2022. The brand which combines classic corporate styles and tailored silhouettes with a strong, cultural, self-assured and confident attitude walked away with Pret A Porter award at recently concluded Fashion Factor Show.”
